We all have dreams!

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."

What next?

Well after our 2009 trip my husband came out with his most ridiculous statement ever! 'No more Florida trips know for a few years!' In a way I knew what he meant but in reality it was like he had imprisoned any fun or sunshine from my life for ever. I was sad, until...

A good friend emailed me with details of a very reasonable cruise deal of the med in July 2010 sailing from Dover calling at some amazing ports in Spain, France and Gibraltar. The price was good but what really sold it to me was it was a...DISNEY CRUISE. Who needs Florida I said and booked it within the hour!

My husband couldn't take time out of work to come with us so it was just me and my daughter. We had the most amazing time so much so that we booked again for 2011 as a family.

This was the start of my 2nd addiction, Disney cruises!

It all started with a...

...trip to Florida in 2000.

My mum and dad had just recently caught the Disney bug and were eager for us to have a trip with them to Florida, so after much planning we decided to give in and take the plunge!

We stayed in a villa at Sunset Lakes, Orlando for a week and then had a 3 night stay near the beach at Sarasota.

We crammed the usual stuff in...Universal, Sea World, the malls etc etc and of course Walt Disney World. Now this is where the trouble started! Oh how I had no idea how this one trip would change my whole life!

Walt Disney World was and still is the most magical place on earth. From the moment I walked onto Main Street, USA I was hooked. Tears filled my eyes and I was like a child again. Happy days.

My daughter was 2 at the time and this trip was the start of her love affair with everything Disney, she didn't stand a chance!

We then visited again in 2002, 2004, 2007 and 2009! See the bug had hit us big time! We also had a couple of sneaky trips to Disneyland Paris in 2001 and 2010.

2004 - Epcot

2007 - Minnie Mouse at Animal Kingdom

Our last visit in 2009 was the ultimate Disney feast as we stayed onsite for the first time at the stunning Disney Yacht Club and wow did we had a ball. We also received free Disney dining which was awesome and we had some of the most gorgeous meals :-)

My daughter Lydia on a very empty Main Street, Magic Kingdom. It was 8.40am and we were on our way to the Crystal Palace for breakfast :-)
